MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA LIGNE 13

The numbers on Maison Martin Margiela garment labels refer to different collections, although not all of them are in use and 13 is objects and editions. Every object has its own unique identity.

MMM Ligne 13 - Tablecloth holders
Silver metal tablespoons of different styles and eras (from the 19th century to the 1940s), sourced in Paris, France, are bent to become tablecloth holders. MMM created this unique piece that can be placed on the table, they can also be used as salt keepers or ashtrays. How multifunctional they are!

MMM Ligne 13 - Knife-rest
Stoppers for antique decanters made in France during the 19th and early 20th centuries are collected and cut and made into knife-rests. Stoppers are all different and each knife-rest is a unique and rare piece. How cool is it to have a glass knife-rest that can be lasted forever?

MMM Ligne 13 - Luminous night-light
A 1930s inspired light-bulb and its socket are moulded in phosphorescent plaster, subtly glowing in the dark. This can be hung on the wall or simply put on a table as decoration.

MMM Ligne 13 - Fortune Egg
It's rare. A typical egg box holds a white egg inspired by fortune cookies. Once cracked, the egg reveals an unexpected message.

MMM Ligne 13 - Lunette Reading Glass
Everybody will need this one day (Just kidding!) This half pair of magnifying glasses is very creative and it can simply added to display on your working desk.

MMM Ligne 13 - Giant Souvenir Snowball
When it comes to giving or receiving a "souvenir", you have never thought of an oversized "souvenir" snowball would be the greatest surprise! This MMM giant souvenir snowball contains glitter creates a space for your imagination to run free.

MMM Ligne 13 - Shoetree-hook
This hook is inspired by a classical shoetree in varnished lime tree (right foot). The heel and toes create two hooks to hang clothes, hats and bags. Screw and peg are included as well.

MMM Ligne 13 - Wallpaper Trompe-l'oeil Staircase
This black and white photo of a "typical curved" staircase, printed on an adhesive fabric that can be repositioned several times.
